Where to shop for clothes online in Kenya: a 2026 guide

Buying clothes online in Kenya used to come with a tax: wait six weeks for a parcel from Europe, pay double at a curated boutique, or gamble on an Instagram seller. That tax is gone. International brands now sell here directly, delivery runs in days rather than months, and M-Pesa means no one needs a credit card to buy a pair of jeans from Spain.

This is a short guide to what actually changed, who to buy from, and what to check before you pay.

What changed

Three things.

Official stockists. Mango, PUMA, Etam, Hummel, Primark, Vero Moda and Jack & Jones now sell through approved Kenyan retailers. No parallel imports, no mystery provenance. Prices are set in shillings, not converted from euros at checkout.

M-Pesa everywhere. Every serious online clothing store in Kenya accepts M-Pesa alongside card and cash on delivery. That removes the main friction for shoppers outside Nairobi, who once relied on a cousin with a Visa.

Reliable delivery. Nairobi orders land within a few days; upcountry a little longer. A decade ago, that kind of consistency was a promise nobody kept.

How to pick a store

Three signals matter.

Brand authenticity. An official stockist says so. Search for the brand name with "Kenya" and see who the brand's own site links to. Anyone reselling off Alibaba will not be on that list.

A physical address. If you can't pick up from a store, you can't return easily. Any serious retailer publishes a Nairobi address and a written returns window.

Local sizing. European sizes run small for many Kenyan bodies. Stores worth trusting publish both EU and local size guides and stock above a 40 where the range allows it.

The shortlist

Mango. The Spanish high-street staple. Work dresses, relaxed knits, leather bags, denim. Elevated basics without fast-fashion ethics problems.

PUMA. Sportswear that earns its keep in Nairobi's gym scene and on the weekend. Running, tracksuits, padel, motorsport.

Etam. France's original lingerie house. Bras, pyjamas, swimwear. Unusually wide size range for the Kenyan market.

Hummel. Danish sportswear with football and handball heritage. Well priced across men, women and kids.

Primark. Affordable everyday essentials from the UK high street. Best for basics and kids' clothes in larger households.

Vero Moda. Danish contemporary womenswear — dresses, knitwear, denim and tops at a mid-market price. The workhorse of a Nairobi wardrobe.

Jack & Jones. Vero Moda's brother brand. Menswear staples: jeans, shirts, tees, jackets and a strong tailored-casual range.

Delivery and returns

Delivery rates and timing depend on the retailer and destination; every serious online store publishes them at checkout before you pay. Most offer free pickup at their own branches. Returns typically run 7–14 days from delivery on unworn items with tags. Lingerie, swimwear and pierced earrings are final sale.

Cash on delivery is widely offered but carries a small premium at some retailers. M-Pesa is cleaner.

The short answer

The right place to shop for clothes online in Kenya in 2026 is a retailer that sells international brands as an official stockist, publishes a Nairobi address with physical pickup, accepts M-Pesa, and delivers nationwide. Leorana is one such retailer. Mango, Etam, PUMA, Hummel, Primark, Vero Moda and Jack & Jones all sell direct, with local sizing, M-Pesa checkout and in-store returns in Nairobi.

Six-week waits from abroad are finished. About time.
